Happy World Vegetarian Day, Lushies! Chef Solange from Plate it Plant-Based shares her Power Balls Recipe with ingredients inspired by Mask Of Magnaminty Power Mask. Honey, vanilla and peppermint not only nourish your body but are hydrating, cleansing and stimulating on the skin. Get busy in the kitchen, then sit back with a mask and treat yourself to a little self-care.
Power Ball Recipe
1 can (15 oz) aduki beans (rinsed)
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 drop of peppermint oil or extract
2 tbsp honey
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup maple syrup
3 tbsp cacao powder
1 extra tbsp cacao for garnish
Put rolled oats and almonds into a food processor and blend for 10 seconds. Then, add the rest of the ingredients and blend for 15 seconds until all is incorporated. If the mixture is too wet, add more oats, then let it sit for 10-15 min to come to room temperature. Roll your mixture into one inch balls, then roll in extra cacao powder and place on a tray lined with parchment paper. Repeat until all your balls are complete, place into the refrigerator for minimum of one hour, and enjoy!
